If you look at movies/shows around when the term was distributed more commonly than just a term in the gay clubbing community, you'll find in the 70s-90s pop culture its just a term for younger slimmer guys. Now obviously those definitions are in need of some updating since bisexuals can be twinks to, and it should specify "identify as male/man" but none of that requires cross-dressing or being feminine. Sadly Merriam Webster just things its a twinkling in the eye or a star.which does not signify here, but MWebster sometimes drags its feet compared to other dictionaries like the Cambridge or the Oxford when it comes to picking up terms used by small groups of the population or slang terms in English, even ones originating in the 60s or 70s like Twink. Typically from the ages of 18-25, and often thought as a young, white, fashionable male.' Actually, I have no idea where that definition of twink you are using came form, perhaps its a more localized tweak, but Cambridge dictionary defines the word as "a gay man who is young, slim, and looks like a boy" The urban dictionary holds the most common meaning to be, 'A "twink" is usually considered a homosexual male with attractive, boyish qualities.
